Staying in LOCOROTONDO, besides visiting the hystorical town center, you can visit the Mother Church(recently restored) with recent archaeological discoveries, and the Romanesque church of Our Lady of the Greek, in the nearbies of the church dedicated to the Patron Saint Rocco.

ALBEROBELLO is just a few minutes away. There you can visit its famous hystorical center, with its Trulli, recognized as “Heritage of Mankind” by UNESCO.

MARTINA FRANCA is just 5 km away from Locorotondo. It's old town centre is full of baroque palaces and chirches. You can also visit Doge's Palace, now turned into the city hall. Lovers of classical music would know the famous Festival, held between July and August.

Within minutes you can reach CISTERNINO, also known for its picturesque old town with its shops and artisans. Its butchers are famous for the well-known “fornello”. Here you can choose the meat you want to eat at the butcher shop's counter. It will be readily cooked with a special cooking technique and it can be enjoyed at the time, comfortably seated at the tables, as well as took away.

Adults and kids cannot not miss a visit to Fasano's ZOOSAFARI, reached by car in just 10 minutes.

Finally, I recommend a by-night walk in OSTUNI, the White City, which is less than twenty km away from Locorotondo.
